Former Castle Country House
Located in the Falkirk area of Scotland and overlooking the River of Firth, Airth Castle is said to date as far back as the 13th century. William Wallace, the 'Braveheart' of Scotland, is said to have attacked the castle in order to rescue his uncle. Parts of the castle were destroyed in the 15th century, and in the 16th century an extension was added to the building. The ruins of a parish church of Airth can also be found inside the castle's walls, while it is considered as a historic building of grave importance even until today.
