Location
Welcome to the stunning Apostolata Island Resort and Spa! This hotel boasts an ideal location with beautiful views of the ocean and a large site. Although some guests have mentioned that the distance from town is an issue, the views are worth it! Luckily, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus, but be aware that it only runs for a limited time. Taxis can be near impossible to get with wait times of 1-1.5 hours. If walking is an option, some guests claim it can be a painful 45-minute trek in the 35° heat. However, the location is perfect for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of town. The rooms are clean and offer fantastic views. The hotel offers an incredible setting and is right on the beach. You can enjoy peace and quiet away from the towns and villages on the island. Whether you're looking for an easy access location or want to be directly by the sea, this resort is perfect for you!

Breakfast
The breakfast at Apostolata Island Resort and Spa has received mixed reviews from guests. Some found it very good and tasty with great food and drink quality and choices throughout their stay. However, others were disappointed with the limited and basic options offered and some found the appearance and display of the food to be poor. Some guests had to arrive early to ensure they were able to get anything to eat and others were unhappy that fresh orange juice required an extra payment. The breakfast buffet was described as monotonous by some and a few guests suggested that the hotel could improve the variety and quality of the food. Despite these criticisms, there were still guests who found the breakfast to be great and praised its variety, but there were also those who thought it was really poor for a 5 star establishment. Overall, it seems that the breakfast experience at Apostolata Island Resort and Spa may be hit or miss depending on the individual's expectations and preferences.

Dinner
Apostolata Island Resort and Spa offers half board options for guests with dinner available in a buffet style. While some guests found the dinner options great for vegetarians and pescatarians, others were disappointed with the cold lunch and limited options. The quality of the food was a common topic among guests with some saying it was not great compared to surrounding restaurants, while others found it to be average or even downright bad. Some guests also noted the absence of Greek food and rude staff in the restaurant. However, the à la carte restaurant received positive reviews for its very nice food, desserts and wine. It's worth noting that the drinks are not included in dinner. While the evening meals improved towards the end of their stay, some guests preferred to dine elsewhere despite the overall exemplary experience at the resort.

Rooms
The Apostolata Island Resort and Spa is a beautiful hotel located on a walkable level with lovely, large suites and private pools in some of the rooms. The views from the garden and balconies are fantastic with nice sea and pool views. However, some guests have mentioned that the hotel is an old 4-star hotel in need of renovation and update in soft furnishings. Some of the rooms have semi-renovated rooms and old-fashioned keys. The main room window was broken in one instance and some guests couldn't lock the balcony room from the inside. The mattresses weren't the best in some of the rooms, but the rooms were predominantly clean and tidy with excellent sea views. While some guests said the rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, others said that they weren't that clean with the shower and bathtub not being cleaned properly in one instance. There is parking right outside the hotel too. The hotel has some private Jacuzzi Zimmer and the rooms are generally described as spacious and with balconies, although some guests would have preferred more privacy as the rooms can be too close together.

Cleanliness
Guests of the Apostolata Island Resort and Spa can expect a calming and relaxing atmosphere during their stay. The nice room air conditioning adds to the overall comfort of the stay. The spa is fantastic and very clean. However, some guests mentioned a heavily watermarked shower plug hole and sink not draining away. Despite these minor details, the spacious clean rooms were a highlight for many guests. Unfortunately, some guests reported that their room wasn't that clean and there were reports of alcuni dettagli che denotano poca cura nella manutenzione (details that show little maintenance care), הטיסה שלנו איחרה והגענו למלון באיחור של יום (our flight was delayed and we arrived at the hotel one day late), costantemente odore di fogna (constantly smelling sewage), mancanza di pulizia (lack of cleanliness) and doccia e la vasca non erano proprio stati puliti (shower and bathtub were not properly cleaned). One guest even reported that their room was only cleaned once a week. Overall, the clean and comfortable rooms and spa make this resort a great choice for a relaxing vacation, but guests may want to request extra cleaning if needed.

Staff
The staff at Apostolata Island Resort and Spa are nothing short of exceptional with many guests raving about the superb service provided by the super nice and lovely workers. They are incredibly polite, good humoured and always willing to go the extra mile to be helpful. The vast majority of guests found the staff to be friendly with many describing them as great, pleasant and even super. The staff hospitality is truly commendable with some reviewers noting that the staff exceeded their expectations. However, a few guests had some negative experiences, mentioning grumpy restaurant staff, miserable and rude staff at breakfast and reduced personnel causing long wait times. Despite these few hiccups, the reception staff were always helpful and polite. Overall, the majority of guests had fantastic interactions with the staff and were impressed by their friendliness and helpfulness.

Pool
One of the standout features of Apostolata Island Resort and Spa is undoubtedly its pool area. With a large and impressive outdoor pool that was described as both massive and beautiful, it's no wonder guests enjoyed spending time swimming there. The infinity pool provided fantastic views of both the pool and the sea, while the poolside bar and separate snack bar made it easy to relax and enjoy refreshments while soaking up the sun. Some rooms even boasted private pools, allowing for ultimate tranquility and stunning sea views. Speaking of views, the ones from the hotel were described as amazing by many guests with a great view over the pool looking out to the beautiful sea. Direct access to the sea from the resort, as well as a private cove, added to the peaceful ambiance. The pool area was spotlessly clean and the location and pool were seen as great, making this a fantastic choice for a relaxing holiday.

5 Star
Apostolata Island Resort and Spa may not be the luxurious 5-star destination you were hoping for. Previous guests have pointed out that everything from pool towels to safes are charged for, which is not what you would expect from a top-rated resort. The food at the buffet was described as downright bad by some and many felt that the quality of the facilities and services did not live up to the hotel's five-star rating. On the other hand, the hotel has a beautiful swimming pool and impressive sea views from the balconies. Breakfast was also highly praised, though some have noted that there were occasional lapses in quality that should not occur in a five-star establishment. Overall, while Apostolata Island Resort and Spa may be a decent option for a mass-market resort, it falls short of the expectations that come with a true five-star experience.

Luxury
Despite being advertised a 5-star hotel, guests of Apostolata Island Resort and Spa were left feeling somewhat disappointed during their stay. Many expected more from a hotel of this supposed calibre and felt that the additional charges for pool towels and safe use were not indicative of a luxury experience. Some guests did not consider the hotel worth the 5-star rating and noted that it lacked the expected high-end amenities. However, others still found it to be a nice hotel, just not necessarily with the level of luxury they were anticipating. Breakfast was said to be varied, but some guests noted a drop in quality that they felt was not acceptable for a 5-star resort. Overall, it was felt that the hotel was of a middle-of-the-road quality rather than the luxury experience promised.
