The hotel’s position is perfect as guests get quick access to the beach and shops, making it a great location. Visitors will love the walkable distance from the seafront and promenade, making the location brilliant. The position of the hotel is great with lovely sea views to take in during your stay. All in all, the location of The Victoria Hotel is a perfect spot to enjoy a memorable vacation.

The hotel offered both continental and cooked breakfast options with the added benefit of being able to order exactly what you wanted. Tea, coffee and toast were served while guests waited. The quality of the food was consistently lauded with some guests describing it as fantastic. The waiter service was also noted to be superb. With a comprehensive selection and lots of choices available, guests felt that the breakfast was very good value for the price. The housekeeping is brilliant and the breakfast staff is excellent. The staff is charming and very efficient in all the dining, bar and lounge areas. They wear visors and constantly clean and tidy the premises. Special mentions go to the waiters/waitresses who are doing a fabulous job - they are polite, friendly and professional. The main doorman, Raymond, is outstanding and keeps the front of the house running well putting in 110% effort. Overall, the service is excellent, providing guests with an old-fashioned service experience in a stunning location. However, some guests encountered one particular member of staff who came across as rude and unhelpful and some said that the foreign staffs’ limited English was a bit of a challenge. Nevertheless, The Victoria Hotel is a lovely grand old hotel with helpful, polite and lovely staff.
