Breakfast
The Eastbury & Spa is known for its great selection of breakfast options with guests describing their morning meal as enjoyable and excellent. The restaurant serves a delicious selection of food, though some guests were disappointed by the cold buffet selection available. Those with dietary restrictions, such as being gluten-free or vegetarian, noted that the breakfast options were a bit limited but still had a solid selection. Good quality ingredients were used at breakfast, except for a few negative reviews of low-quality food and bad service. Overall, guests recommend the hotel's breakfast with some suggesting the addition of seasonal fresh fruit.

Dinner
The Eastbury & Spa offers luxurious accommodations and an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant boasts an excellent chef with exquisite and amazing food available on both evening and taster menus. However, some guests did experience delays in serving their food with one waiting an hour for the first course and another missing out on dinner altogether due to the restaurant being closed on a Tuesday night. There were also some complaints of slow service and a narrow menu selection, but overall, the waitstaff got it just right with special recognition given to waitress Cody who was knowledgeable about the menu. Despite the high cost of some dishes, such as a £9 surcharge for a Caesar salad at dinner, guests generally found the quality of the food to be exceptional. Some guests who were unable to dine at the hotel were disappointed with one paying £189 for a room but no restaurant available for dinner. Overall, the dinner experience at The Eastbury & Spa was good with some minor issues but exceptional food and service.

Rooms
The Eastbury & Spa offers beautiful and well-appointed rooms, ranging from large and spacious to cozy and tastefully decorated. Some guests noted that their rooms were upgraded and had lovely touches, like courtyard patios and Christmas decorations. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and well designed. However, some guests also mentioned that certain rooms were too noisy or lacked proper hygiene. The receptionist might insist that some of these rooms are quiet, but guests have found noise from downstairs, the floor being noisy or little windows. Nonetheless, the majority of guests at The Eastbury & Spa have had a comfortable and quiet stay with beautiful grounds and comfortable beds.

Cleanliness
The Eastbury & Spa is a clean and comfortable hotel with attention to detail. Most guests found their rooms spotlessly clean and appointed to a very high standard. The staff also made it a nice experience by providing complimentary sloe gin and treats. However, a few guests mentioned that their rooms and bathrooms weren't as clean as they could have been and there were some nasty stains on the carpet. One guest even mentioned an extremely low level of hygiene with pieces of nails and hair on the floor and dirty cups. But overall, the hotel is clean throughout and offers a comfortable and quiet stay, although some amenities like the mirror light and some tea cups may be difficult to use.

Staff
The staff at The Eastbury & Spa have received mixed reviews. While most guests found them to be excellent, friendly, accommodating and welcoming, some guests felt that some staff members were inattentive or not efficient. However, the majority of guests had positive experiences with the friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff who were always happy to help. Many guests mentioned specific staff members who provided excellent service, such as Chris on reception and Sam who went over and above to provide attentive and personal service. The restaurant service received mixed reviews with some guests finding it patchy and needing to go find staff at times. Overall, the staff at The Eastbury & Spa were warm, charming and accommodating with clear training and motivation to provide excellent service.

Spa
The Eastbury & Spa is advertised as a spa hotel and while some guests were disappointed with their spa experience due to the spa's capacity being for only four people and it being fully booked, others described their spa treatments as super and wonderful. Some guests were unable to use the spa facilities at all due to them being fully booked or unavailable for various reasons and one guest was charged an additional £25 per person to use the spa. The spa facilities themselves were described as small but adequate. While some guests did not use the spa, others found it to be the highlight of their stay at the hotel.

5 Star
The Eastbury & Spa is an exceptional five-star hotel that offers a wonderful stay with attentive service. The caring, quirky and quality of the staff makes your stay faultless in every respect. Despite the high price at £300 per night for a room, this hotel is worth it and is superb for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. It's no wonder why it's now our favourite country hotel by far. On the flip side, there were a couple of reviews that were not very welcoming or friendly, surprising for a 5* hotel. However, those were overshadowed by the majority of guests who had exceptional experiences and were happy to recommend this hotel to others. If you're looking for an exceptional hotel with superb service, then The Eastbury & Spa is definitely worth considering for your next stay.
