However, the staff at The Belmont hotel are an absolute credit to the establishment with owners Linda and Des going above and beyond to accommodate and make guests feel at home. Safety and comfort are always at the forefront of the owners' minds and their ability to make guests feel at ease is often highlighted in reviews. Overall, The Belmont is a lovely property with great amenities and a fantastic team running it.

Location

The Belmont is a hotel with a fantastic location, conveniently situated near the beach and restaurants, yet still in a very peaceful area. The hotel is ideal for those looking to visit Shanklin with its great location allowing for easy access to the old town and the esplanade. Guests appreciate the excellent hospitality and love the quiet road on which the hotel is situated, perfectly located just a short stroll from the seafront and other local attractions. All in all, a perfect location for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Breakfast

Guests of 'The Belmont' couldn't say enough good things about their breakfast experience. The freshly cooked breakfast each morning was a highlight for many with one reviewer calling it a "banging fry up to start the day." The breakfast was consistently described as excellent, delicious and even perfect. Many mentioned the great variety and choices available with options for vegetarians. Guests raved about the fabulous and amazing breakfasts and several reviewers shared their appreciation for Linda who cooked a tasty breakfast and was always willing to help.
