Double Room with Garden View This Double Room is set amongst the Edgewater Resort’s 6 acres of beautiful lush gardens, yet are also just 50 metres from the beach area.

Double Room with Lagoon View Rooms are close to the water and overlook the beach and lagoon. Rates are for 2 people. Maximum occupancy is 3 people.

Superior Double Room with Garden View These superior rooms are located in a quiet corner of the resort, amongst tropical gardens. You can relax on the balcony or take a short stroll to the beach. Maximum occupancy is 3.

Three-Bedroom Beachfront Villa Each of these beachfront villas are located right on the beach, with unobstructed views of the lagoon and the Pacific Ocean. Each villa has three bedrooms and two bathrooms (with the master bedroom having the en-suite), a large modern kitchen and spacious living area.

Three Bedroom Garden Villa The 3-Bedroom Garden Villas feature a full kitchen, breakfast bar, fridge/freezer, dining area, laundry facilities, air conditioned living area and patio area with outdoor furniture. The master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. The main Bathroom has a bath, separate shower and toilet and is located between the second and third bedroom.

Beachfront Room This Suite features sea views and is located just metres from the water’s edge at the private northern end of the resort, with direct access to the beach. Offering a balcony, the suite also includes a large bathroom with spa bath, separate shower and toilet. Also provided are tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge.

Location

If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay in the Cook Islands, The Edgewater Resort & Spa might just be the place for you. The hotel is situated right near the beach, providing guests with easy and accessible snorkeling opportunities. Everything you need is within easy access with all necessary amenities at your fingertips. Plus, the hotel has a central location, making it easy to get around and explore the island. Some guests even noted that a local bus comes through reception for added convenience. The beachfront location is superb, offering stunning sea views that guests can enjoy from anywhere on the property. The resort's layout and location are top-notch, making it the perfect spot for families or anyone looking for an easy, enjoyable getaway.

Breakfast

Guests at The Edgewater Resort & Spa have mixed opinions on the breakfast. Many of them enjoyed the delicious and reasonably priced breakfast selection, including tropical fruits, cereal, toast and muffins. The inclusive menu also impressed them with a range of variations throughout the week. Some guests, however, found the breakfast to lack savory items and the complimentary options to be only limited to continental fare. They suggested free hot/cooked items such as eggs or sausage should be added to the menu. The bar and restaurant staff impressed most guests with their service and some guests appreciated the option to choose their own breakfast at the breakfast buffet. Overall, the breakfast selection was said to be amazing at times, but could use some improvements like adding hot items to the menu and providing more variety for guests staying longer.

If you're looking for a great dining experience during your stay at The Edgewater Resort & Spa, then you're in luck! The hotel's dinner options are wide ranging and reasonably priced with themed evenings adding an extra touch of excitement. The Spagetti restaurant is particularly recommended, serving up fabulous meals. Guests have described their dinner experiences as amazing, out of this world and even culturally enriching, thanks to the fantastic cultural show that's sometimes on offer. The atmosphere of the dining areas is pretty cool and safe, while the outdoor facilities are excellent. Though the buffet was a little expensive for some, the island night buffet on Tuesdays and Fridays is a must-try for the food alone. Breakfast and lunch and dinner were all praised with great staff providing wonderful service. A Barista was even available in the restaurant, though some guests suggested more variety in ice-cream flavours would be appreciated. Despite a few comments about the food being a bit expensive for the portion size, overall, the hotel's restaurants are highly recommended by guests.

However, the large majority of guests found the staff of the resort to be incredibly welcoming, obliging, kind and cheerful. In particular, guests appreciated the helpfulness and dedication of Trina from food and beverage, who went above and beyond to ensure their stay was wonderful. Pool

Snorkelers will be delighted with the packed lagoon filled with tropical fish and beautiful coral formations. Guests can easily access the beach for swimming or snorkeling with snorkel gear and reef shoes available on-site. Lounge chairs and plenty of tables and day beds are provided for those who want to relax by the shore. The food is great and the ambience is amazing. Although the outer reef is nearby and can make the water a little rough, there are still plenty of opportunities for swimming and snorkeling elsewhere. Don't miss the sand deck that overlooks the reef, where you can sip on a drink and watch humpback whales. This resort is a great value for money, offering easy access to the beach, a private bus stop and a bar and restaurant right on the beach.

Family

The Edgewater Resort & Spa is the perfect choice for families looking for an amazing and relaxing holiday at a great price. The facilities and activities, including a kids club, kept our families entertained and engaged with staff and other guests. With a beautiful beachfront, large spacious apartments and good cooking facilities, the resort is excellent for both couples and families. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was great. The grandkids enjoyed a variety of activities, such as crab races, floral hairband making, snorkeling, oversize chess, swimming and choosing their own breakfast at the buffet. The resort is good for budget-seeking families and best suited for families with young kids looking for a comfortable family hotel with access to lots of facilities. A massive shout out to Phyllis, who became our waitress at the restaurant during a huge part of our stay - thank you - we loved having you with us. The visiting cat and friendly dogs on the island were also a highlight for the kids. We highly recommend The Edgewater Resort & Spa for a truly memorable family holiday.

The Edgewater Resort & Spa is a fabulous, well-located and family-friendly mid-range resort that offers a lovely holiday experience. The facilities are easy to navigate and the staff is wonderful, making the stay very good. Although some guests found the rooms to be a bit dated and the breakfast poor unless upgraded, the overall value is good for the price. While some may argue it's not quite a 4-star rating, most guests enjoyed their stay and found it to be a great option for families.
