Location
Welcome to RainHill Hall Hotel, a stunning period property set in beautiful woodland grounds that make you feel like you're out in the countryside, yet conveniently located just 25 minutes from Liverpool. This hidden gem boasts amazing scenery and a quiet, peaceful location that guests have raved about. The hotel's good location has been perfect for many guests, who found it ideally situated for visiting family, attending local weddings or events or accessing the nearby hospital. However, some guests found it like a maze trying to find their room, so be sure to get clear directions. The beautiful surroundings and plenty of parking make it a great spot for those with cars, especially those headed to Aintree racecourse. While some found it convenient for Liverpool, others felt it was only really that convenient for the venue room. In any case, the hotel's lovely location and stunning scenery made up for any slight inconveniences. Overall, we highly recommend RainHill Hall Hotel for a peaceful getaway with beautiful surroundings.

Breakfast
The breakfast at RainHill Hall Hotel received mixed reviews from guests. While some found the breakfast to be excellent, others found it to be a little pricey or basic. Some had to ask for milk to be topped up and seek out a waitress for tea. There were also reports of the breakfast being cold most of the time and of waiting ages for it even though there were only a few customers. However, those who enjoyed the breakfast found it to be delicious, fresh and just right. The hotel also offered a continental breakfast choice, but some guests found it to be limited and not value for money. Overall, while the breakfast received both positive and negative feedback, it didn't overshadow the positive aspects of the hotel.

Dinner
RainHill Hall Hotel offers a mixed experience when it comes to dinner. While some guests found the restaurant food to be delicious and well presented, others were disappointed by the quality and wait time. The staff in the restaurant were described as helpful. However, the unpleasant smell from the corridors made the restaurant unappetising for some. As a result, some guests decided to eat dinner elsewhere. Additionally, poor service was a recurring issue with some waiting up to 20 minutes for a menu and an hour for their food. A wedding party booking also affected the availability of the bar and evening meals for other guests. Unfortunately, the noise level was high until the early hours and limited facilities were available.

Rooms
RainHill Hall Hotel has a range of room types with many guests describing them as lovely, beautiful, spacious and clean. However, some rooms were noted as being tired and needing a makeover with wallpaper coming away from walls and some spaces feeling bare with no furniture. There were also comments about the lack of heating or warm water in some rooms and some experienced difficulties finding their allocated room. Some guests enjoyed the spa bath in their room, while others noted the lack of practical elements such as mirrors and lamps. Despite these issues, many guests appreciated the comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the rooms. The decor was noted as being a little over the top by some, but others enjoyed the quirky and pretty furnishings. Overall, the rooms at RainHill Hall Hotel were of varying standards, but some guests were impressed with the size and standard of their room with some even receiving a free room upgrade.

Beds
RainHill Hall Hotel offers a range of beds in their rooms, but some guests have noted that they encountered some issues during their stays. Some guests were provided with single beds instead of double beds for couples and some even found the beds to be old and in bad condition. However, other guests had a great night's sleep, finding the beds to be extremely comfortable and cozy with soft pillows. Some rooms were spacious and enjoyed by guests, despite the occasional issue with bedding arrangements. Overall, it seems like the quality of beds at RainHill Hall Hotel can vary, but many guests have still been able to enjoy their stay regardless.

Cleanliness
Guests of RainHill Hall Hotel are generally impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, describing the rooms as lovely, spotless, immaculate and beautiful. Many guests note that the rooms are well-equipped and comfortable with large, clean bathrooms. However, a few guests comment on minor cleanliness issues, such as some marks on sheets or towels with makeup stains. One guest notes cobwebs and spiders in the hall by their door, while another mentions a dirty stairwell. Some guests also report strange smells on the lower floor, but overall, the property is described as clean and staff are praised for their friendliness and attention to cleanliness.

Some guests even mention specific staff members who stood out for their excellent service, such as Jackie and Adam. The restaurant and bar staff also receive high praise for their attentiveness with one guest calling them "fantastic." There were also reports of staff being unhelpful when approached about the issue. If reliable Wi-Fi is a priority for your stay, it may be best to check with the hotel beforehand.

Spa
RainHill Hall Hotel offers spa facilities including treatment rooms, a sauna and a relaxing spa bath. However, some guests were disappointed that the spa was an extra charge and that they were unable to use it on their visit due to it being closed or fully booked for treatments. Some guests enjoyed the sauna and relaxation room despite not being able to book treatments. There were mixed reviews on the spa bath with some finding it great and others saying that cold water ruined their experience. Extra charges were also mentioned for using the Jacuzzi hot tub and sauna. Despite some negative experiences, guests who were able to use the spa facilities had excellent massages and would recommend visiting.

Parking
RainHill Hall Hotel has a convenient location with plenty of parking. However, guests have noted that the car park and area outside the entrance are not treated for ice and have potholes which can make walking dangerous. Additionally, there is no lighting in the car park. Despite these issues, guests have generally found parking to be easy and there is a lot of space available with some commenting that they were the only car in the car park.
