The Hotel Vieja Cuba is situated in a great location, offering easy access to bus lines and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. It is located in the modern Mariscal Sucre district, a nice area with great supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The staff is amazing and the hotel has a good standard. While there are stairs to climb at elevation, the location is central to various areas of interest. Guests can easily move towards the center and north of the city with great ease, including a 15-20 minute walk to the Santa Clara market. Taxis to places of interest are around 3-4 dollars. Overall, the hotel has a very good location, close to some of the nicest bars, restaurants and amenities in Quito.
