The relatively safe neighborhood offers peace of mind for travelers, however, guests should exercise caution when walking at night. Although the immediate area had many closed establishments, blocks in any direction proved otherwise. The hotel is just a 20-minute walk to the Old Town and guests can easily find restaurants within walking distance. Overall, Casa Joaquin Boutique Hotel is excellently located and a great option for travelers looking to explore Quito.
