The staff are attentive and the rooms are luxurious, although it may be quite a walk from the spa to your room. Overall, guests loved the location of Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa and would recommend it as a very nice place to stay.

Breakfast
The Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa offers a breakfast experience that receives mixed reviews from guests. Some were extremely impressed by the food quality and service, citing freshly prepared dishes and wonderful options. However, others found the breakfast overly formal and stuffy due to the lack of self-serve options and required booking of specific time slots. Some guests also found the breakfast to be expensive and poor value for money with a limited menu and extra charges for certain items. While some enjoyed their breakfast, others found it to be boring with plain menu options, small portions and limited vegan options. Some guests encountered errors with their orders and felt that the service was patchy. Despite the mixed reviews, the hotel offers a unique breakfast menu that includes both excellent and awful options.

Dinner
Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa offers guests a unique experience with several restaurants to choose from for their evening meal. While some reviewers found the food to be expensive for what it was, others raved about the excellent quality of the meals they enjoyed. The Mayflower restaurant seemed to be a particular highlight for those who dined there with several mentioning the great vegan options. On the other hand, some were disappointed with the Acleat restaurant, commenting on the type/size of food and the price. However, others had a brilliant experience there. The waiting staff received mixed reviews with some guests disappointed by their lack of attentiveness. The six course taster menu at the restaurant was highly recommended by many. While the food was a highlight for most, some commented on the high prices and small portions. Overall, it seems that the quality of the food made up for any shortcomings in the restaurant's prices or service. In addition to the food, guests also appreciated the cozy atmosphere and delicious bread offered with their evening meals. On the downside, some reviewers were disappointed in the fittings in their rooms, which they felt did not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel.

Rooms
If you're looking for a luxurious stay, Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa won't disappoint. The rooms and facilities are of an extremely high standard and you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The four-poster beds and lovely decor in some of the rooms add a romantic touch and there are plenty of personal touches throughout. The split-level rooms add character to your stay. Overall, the rooms are spacious, inviting and exceptionally clean, though some might be in need of modernisation. The spa, grounds and Lady Jayne room were said to be particularly impressive. However, a few guests were disappointed with the basic facilities of some rooms, including inadequate showers and cheap fittings. Some beds were also reported to be uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the majority of guests found the rooms to be comfortable, stylish and, most importantly, clean.

Beds
The beds at Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa were mentioned frequently in guest reviews. While some guests found the beds to be very comfortable and clean, others pointed out some issues they experienced. Some guests found their twin beds pushed together to be slightly unlevel with each other. Some described the mattresses as hard, while others found them to be too soft with noise coming from the springs. A few guests even compared the beds and pillows to sleeping on concrete. Despite these complaints, many guests found the rooms to be comfortable overall with super comfortable beds and pillows, making for a cozy night's sleep.

Cleanliness
Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa is a lovely building that's spotlessly clean and well maintained according to the highest standards of hygiene. The staff is faultless and the attention to detail is impressive. Although some guests mentioned that facilities seemed to be a bit dated and lacking proper maintenance, everything felt clean and well-kept. The rooms are lovely and cosy with the exception of some noise from the room above. While some guests found a large red wine stain on their bedroom carpet, others reported that their rooms were clean, comfortable and spotless. While there were a few comments about not everywhere being cleaned properly, the overall impression was one of impeccable cleanliness. Even the spa was described as being super gepflegt (blitzblank and very clean). Despite a few minor issues such as missing cutlery and tables not being cleaned promptly, guests were generally satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel and spa. In short, if you're looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay, Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa is a great choice.

Staff
The staff at Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa are universally praised for their exceptional service and friendly demeanor. Guests consistently commented that staff went "above and beyond" to accommodate their needs and that their attentive, welcoming nature made them feel well-cared for and appreciated. Whether it was the helpfulness of front desk staff, the exceptional service of the spa attendants or the friendliness of restaurant staff, visitors to Boringdon Hall noted that the staff were the highlight of their stay. While some reviewers noted that a few staff members could have used further training, the vast majority reported that they were impressed with the professionalism and kindness of everyone they encountered. Spa

The pool and hot tubs are amazing, although the bubbles may take some time to come on since they are on timers. However, the wait is definitely worth it. The spa also has lovely sun loungers, although more could be added. The layout and service are exceptional and the staff are amazing. From the sauna and hammam to the outdoor terrace, this spa offers everything you need for a wonderfully relaxing time. Some guests claim that it's one of the best spas they've been to, surpassing any expectations they had. Though it's on the expensive side, the spa is definitely worth the cost.

Pool
The pool at Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa has received mixed reviews from guests. While some describe it as amazing and great, others have had issues, such as not being able to use the pool for their child. Some guests have also noted that there is limited indoor seating around the pool in the spa and not enough relaxation beds poolside. There have also been complaints about the wait time for hot tub bubbles and for the big hot pool and water fall to come on. Some guests have complained about personal items being moved by cleaners. On a positive note, the deep space pool and saunas are really good and the pool and facilities overall are great with perfect facilities including the pool. However, it's worth noting that the outside jet pool isn't warm enough for some guests.

5 Star
Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa is an exceptional five-star hotel that offers an incredible experience with amazing 5-star treatment. The building itself is beautiful and has a wonderful atmosphere, providing guests with the perfect location to relax and unwind. However, some guests have found that the food quality in the brasserie is not up to 5-star standards, making it feel a bit overrated. Nonetheless, the hotel still provides exactly what a 5-star hotel should be and is easily the best place some guests have ever stayed. While some guests noted the staff may not be 5-star trained, the overall experience is exceptional and surely will exceed expectations.
