Despite its secluded location, there are plenty of pubs and local chip shops nearby and it is just a short drive away from the town of Oban. Guests rave about the castle's beautiful setting and well-kept property, fantastic décor and loads of atmosphere and history. The staff are also highly praised for their great service and the delicious breakfast they serve. The middle-of-nowhere location means that there are plenty of great activities and sights nearby to explore, including Glencoe and guests comment on the incredible drive to reach the castle. In conclusion, if you're looking for a peaceful and stunning location to stay during your Highland trip, Barcaldine Castle is the perfect choice.
