Location
Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa is situated in an exceptional location, at the heart of Nouméa with a beautiful beachfront setting and stunning ocean views. The hotel's grounds are immaculate with plenty of space for free parking and easy access to the beaches, local restaurants, shops and bars. The pool area is nice and the beach is accessible from the resort. Guests can enjoy a long beach walk all the way to Lemon Bay from the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially the front desk staff. The location is ideal with the convenience of being within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Tjibaou cultural centre. Although a bit hilly, the hotel is well-located for an easy stroll into town. The hotel overlooks the ocean, providing a great spot for sunset views. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished and have good wifi. Overall, a lovely hotel in a beautiful location!

Breakfast
If you're looking for a hotel with a great breakfast, Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa might just be the perfect destination for you. Guests have raved about the selection and variety of food available with many noting the well-stocked and diverse breakfast buffet. Some even labelled it as amazing and excellent. Guests who enjoyed the beach bar food and lunch facilities also found them to be good.

Those who had a pleasant breakfast experience praised the beautiful spot beside the sea where they could enjoy their meal. Others found the breakfast tasty and delicious. Guests also appreciated the extended hours during weekends. Additionally, some guests received a complimentary breakfast as compensation for a lack of hot water in the morning.

However, some guests were disappointed with the breakfast buffet, citing a lack of food choice and limited hours to get food. Others felt that the cooked options were not satisfactory with only scrambled eggs, sausage and soggy hash browns being offered. Despite these negative comments, overall, most guests enjoyed a good breakfast with generous portions and a great selection of food, making it worth the price.

Dinner
Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa offers guests a delightful dining experience with its great restaurant overlooking the ocean. While some guests found the restaurant a little expensive and the food at Le Fare un-eatable, others enjoyed the delicious seafood at Le Roof and the Friday night seafood buffet which was spectacular. However, some guests were disappointed by the limited casual dining options after 5pm, odd opening hours for the different restaurants and limited food options. Despite this, there were plenty of positive reviews of the hotel's dining experiences, including the delicious meal at La Marmite et tire Bouchon and the great pizzas at the neighboring Chateau Royal. Although some guests experienced difficulties with room service and a lack of information on dining options, the hotel's restaurants and bars are definitely worth checking out.

Rooms
If you're looking for a comfortable stay in Nouméa, you won't be disappointed with Le Méridien. The rooms are generally spacious, clean and well-equipped with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Some guests even rave about the ocean views from their balconies. Plus, the hotel staff is accommodating and professional—many guests appreciated being upgraded to a larger room with a view. However, it's worth noting that some rooms are in dire need of an upgrade with dated finishes and musty smells. Additionally, some guests had issues with housekeeping not cleaning their room regularly without request or finding dirty or moldy furniture. Overall, Le Méridien is a great option for those looking for a comforting stay in the city, but be sure to inquire about room quality before booking.

Beds
If you're looking for a comfortable night's sleep in Nouméa, look no further than Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa. Guests rave about the comfortable beds and pillows with some calling it "one of the comfiest beds" they've ever slept on. While there were a few criticisms about the softness of some of the pillows and the need to update some of the bed heads, overall guests found the beds to be "wonderfully comfortable." The duvet can be a bit too hot for the climate, but the hotel's peaceful atmosphere and top-notch mattress make up for it. Just note that the sofa bed isn't quite as cozy as the main beds in the room. Overall, if a good night's sleep is a priority for your stay in Nouméa, Le Méridien won't disappoint in the bedding department.

Cleanliness
Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa is a well-presented, clean and well-maintained property with immaculate grounds and a sparkling clean pool. Guest reviews compliment the housekeeping staff for thoroughly cleaning the rooms, topping up amenities and maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. However, some guests noted issues with areas such as corners of the room, top of bar fridge and moldy sofa and had to request cleaning. A few guests mentioned minor maintenance issues such as a rusted balcony door, broken towel rail and blocked basin drain. While most reviews highlight clean and comfortable rooms, some guests did not find the room clean enough and experienced issues such as dampness, musty smell, stained glass, mildew in the shower and stained bed headboards. Overall, the cleanliness of the hotel is favored by many guests, although some feel there is room for improvement in certain areas.

Staff
Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa boasts exceptional staff who are friendly, helpful, polite and accommodating. The front counter staff received particularly high praise for their out of this world service. Additionally, the staff at the restaurant near the beach were also highlighted as great and attentive. Despite some mixed reviews about the service at the in-house restaurant, Coristain at the bar was commended for exceptional service. The majority of guests found the staff to be respectful, courteous and always available. However, a few guests felt that the reception staff were not particularly friendly. Overall, the hotel staff were described as lovely, warm and inviting, going out of their way to help guests feel comfortable, particularly Lisa at the reception. While some reviews mentioned issues with cleanliness and unmindful breakfast service, the majority of guests were impressed with the helpful and friendly staff.

Pool
The pool area at Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa has received positive feedback from guests with many describing it as lovely, wonderful and great. The pool is said to be a good size, clean and with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available. Guests also appreciate the easy access to the beach. The poolside bar and restaurant is a popular spot to relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets. Some guests noted that the pool water was too cold, but preferred swimming in the sea. There were a few negative comments regarding broken equipment and lack of shade, but overall, the pool area is well-maintained and enjoyable for guests.

Beach
Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa boasts a prime location right on a gorgeous beach, which guests can easily access. The beachfront view and adjacent garden are stunning and provide the perfect spot to watch beautiful sunsets. Unwind by the clean beach or take a long walk all the way to Lemon Bay. The pool and beachfront area offer comfortable lounging and the beach cafe serves tasty lunch and snacks in the late afternoon. Guests also appreciate the spacious and clean rooms with access to the beach. Although there were some issues with beach closures due to shark attacks, the location on the clear sea is still a highlight. Additionally, the lovely gardens add to the overall charm of the property.

5 Star
Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa is a beautiful hotel located in a fabulous location. The facilities and services offered are top-notch, however, some guests mentioned that the rooms were not up to 5-star quality and were basic. Despite this, the overall experience at the hotel was positive and enjoyable. While some guests question if it meets the criteria of a true 5-star establishment, others were more forgiving and noted that it may not be a perfect 5-stars, but still worth the stay.

Luxury
Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa is a premium and beautiful hotel situated in a fantastic location. Guests were impressed by the first-class amenities, including the incredible overwater bungalows. However, some reviewers felt that the hotel fell short of their expectations of a 5-star establishment and were not sure if it provided good value for money.
