The hotel is located near many great boutiques, bars and restaurants, but our room was very quiet. The famous Carousel Bar is a must-see, loved for its great music and lively atmosphere, but also known for being crowded. Despite this, guests have raved about the bar being one of the best right in the hotel. The décor is beautiful and the vibe is vibey. Some guests found it a little too easy to get inebriated, so be mindful of your alcohol intake. The nightlife in the adjacent street was also mentioned. However, some guests found the Carousel Bar difficult to enter, even as hotel guests. Regardless, the location and restaurants around the hotel are fabulous. One of the best things about this hotel is how close it is to Bourbon Street- walking there takes no time at all. Overall, guests loved the nightlife around the Hotel Monteleone and felt that it exceeded their expectations.

The hotel has its own bar with fantastic live music, which is a huge plus compared to wandering around at night looking for a place to go. Bars and cool restaurants are within easy walking distance, though some bars may be packed. The drinks at the connected Bourbon O Bar are amazing. You're also steps away from the party street itself, where you can find plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping and even a haunted aspect to the experience. Just make sure to plan ahead and have a backup plan if you're looking for a quieter spot to grab a drink and some food. Overall, the Bourbon Orleans Hotel is a great choice if you want to be in the center of the action.
