Dunes Village is an excellent hotel with a great location, right on the beach. Guests rave about the proximity to the ocean and the ability to enjoy it right from the hotel. The location is also convenient with everything not too far from the rooms, including food, shopping and entertainment. The hotel is accessible to the main routes and some great restaurants are close by. While parking may be across the road or far from the room, guests found it easy to find a spot. For those who want to explore, the distance to different golf courses is just right and Xmas shopping is in the area. The hotel's location is perfect, not being down in the prime part of Myrtle Beach, but only 10 minutes from Broadway at the Beach and local dining/restaurants. Overall, guests love the location and amenities of Dunes Village, making it a great choice for anyone visiting Myrtle Beach.

Though it was under construction during our stay, we heard nothing but rave reviews about it. Guests were thrilled with the swimming pool inside and the other amenities, making the indoor pool one of the highlights of their stay. Water Park
Dunes Village is a kid-friendly hotel with an indoor water park and beach access just for the little ones. The park has multiple fun features with great waterslides and a lazy river, creating the perfect day spent in the water. Although some guests mentioned the indoor park was a little worn, the pools, playground and beach area are all excellent for kids. The park can get crowded, but the staff is accommodating and helpful. The few downsides are the rough steps to get to the bigger slides and the smell of chlorine, which sometimes became overwhelming. Despite that, Dunes Village is an excellent stay with so much for children to do, making it worth the price.
