Location
The Pfister Hotel is a beautiful hotel situated in a prime location in downtown Milwaukee. Guests repeatedly rave about how much they love the location, describing it as perfect, great, wonderful and amazing. Visitors enjoy being within walking distance of many popular attractions, including the Pabst theater, the Third Ward and lakeside parks. The street car (the Hop) also has multiple stops right nearby, making getting around the city easy and convenient. Guests note that it's a great location to explore Milwaukee with lots going on and plenty of things to do. Parking can be a bit of a hassle and some guests have had a hard time getting reservations, but overall, the hotel's central location is a major selling point.

Breakfast
If you're looking for a hotel with a great breakfast, The Pfister Hotel won't disappoint. Guests rave about the nice selection and excellent food at the hotel's cafe and some even recommend the rooftop breakfast. The hotel offers breakfast vouchers, though some guests had issues with the system. If you'd prefer to enjoy breakfast in-room, you can do that too. Overall, guests agree that the breakfast at The Pfister Hotel is very good or even fabulous with attentive wait staff to complete the experience. While not all guests loved the breakfast, the majority found it to be a highlight of their stay. Just make sure to clarify any billing concerns to avoid being overcharged.

Dinner
The dinner options at The Pfister Hotel offer a diverse selection for every guest's taste buds. The Mason Street Grill comes highly recommended with many reviews raving about its amazing food quality, particularly for the steak. The Blu is also a popular option for dinner, providing an unforgettable dining experience. Though a few guests had issues with their dinner reservations and some had a slow experience at the lobby bar, the hotel recommends making reservations in advance to avoid any hassles. Overall, the Pfister Hotel is a great destination for local dining, offering an ideal restaurant experience for all visitors.

Rooms
The Pfister Hotel is a beautiful old-world hotel with palace-like surroundings that offers luxury and comfort to its guests. The older historic rooms have a dated feeling and furniture that needs updating, but the hotel is clean and aesthetically gorgeous. The rooms are of great size and very comfortable with very comfortable beds and incredible views of Lake Michigan. However, some rooms can be noisy and there might be some issues with housekeeping and temperature control. Some of the rooms lack storage/counter space or a microwave and small refrigerator. The bathrooms, though, are generally nice and spacious. Some guests found holes in their sheets, towels and bathmat and other minor maintenance problems such as a broken lamp or safe that wouldn't lock. The hotel has a boutique-type ambiance with friendly staff and offers lovely room service. Though some guests found the room service food to be bland. The Pfister offers a variety of rooms including grand tower, separate living/bedroom areas, though one guest did book a room on the 2nd floor despite booking a grand tower room. Overall, guests found the rooms to be comfortable and spacious, while some required updating.

Beds
The beds at The Pfister Hotel are an absolute dream - most guests had the pleasure of sleeping on comfortable and cloud-like beds, providing a peaceful and restful night's sleep. The hotel's rooms are also lauded for their incredible views, making for a picturesque and cozy setting to rest your head. However, there were a few negative comments with some guests finding the beds too sunken in or too firm for their personal preference. There were also comments regarding stained bedsheets and some guests who found the bed uncomfortable or hard. However, these were outweighed by the numerous positive reviews of the comfortable and luxurious beds. A few guests also commented on the pillows being too "puff," but this seemed to be resolved for some with a request for new pillows, leading to better sleep. Overall, the beds at The Pfister Hotel seem to be a highlight of any stay, providing a cozy and indulgent experience for guests.

Cleanliness
The Pfister Hotel is a beautiful and historic property that is well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The hotel is overall very clean and guests consistently praised the cleanliness of the rooms. Despite the hotel's commitment to cleaning during COVID, some guests wished for their rooms to be cleaned more frequently. However, the cleanliness of the hotel was generally seen as exceptional with very few complaints about cleanliness. While some guests reported minor issues like hair in the tub or a dirty glass, these were isolated incidents and did not detract from the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Overall, guests were impressed by the hotel's beauty and cleanliness and found it to be a great option for a luxurious stay in Milwaukee.

From the valet guys who welcome you with a friendly smile to the front desk staff who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, everyone is polite and accommodating. The doorman is definitely worth mentioning as he is the highlight of many guests' visits. The personal assistant available via texting is also helpful and convenient. The hotel's concierge is a great help in making recommendations and arranging rides. The lobby bar, dining and room service are exceptional with fabulous breakfast and wait staff. The elevators are speedy and the bell hops are accommodating. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are well-trained to make every customer feel welcome and Travis at Blu is especially charming. The property is elegant, located in a very nice area. All in all, the Pfister Hotel has an amazing team with exceptional, personable and gracious staff, both charming and professional.

Pool
Guests have raved about the pool at The Pfister Hotel, located on the top floor with breathtaking views of the city. Many enjoyed spending their days lounging by the pool or sipping drinks at the rooftop bar. Families with children loved the fun atmosphere and small size of the pool, while some guests found it to be too small or deep on one side. Regardless, the indoor pool on the 23rd floor is a great place to spend some free time with amazing views.

Parking
The Pfister Hotel provides both self and valet parking for an additional fee. While some guests found the parking charge excessive and disliked paying extra, others found it worth it and liked the attached garage and self-parking option. Some encountered problems with misplaced parking tickets or difficulty finding a spot in the almost full garage. However, others were happy with the convenience of onsite parking and appreciated the option for free parking in the attached stacked garage. It was suggested by some guests that it would be nice if parking fees were included in the room price. There were also some issues with getting expected dinner reservations at Mason Street Grill due to the parking fee. Overall, the parking options provided were good and convenient for those willing to pay extra.

Nightlife
If you're looking for a hotel with great nightlife options, The Pfister Hotel is the perfect spot for you. The hotel's BLU Jazz Club and Blu bar are both highly recommended by guests, providing lively atmospheres and live music to enjoy. The Blu bar on the 23rd floor offers stunning city views and is a must-visit. Although some guests reported street noise and music filtering in, this shouldn't be a problem if you're a night owl. The location of the hotel is ideal for those who want to explore the surrounding restaurants and bars in the Water Street area, while also being close to onsite options including a nice restaurant and lounge on the first floor and a rooftop bar. Overall, The Pfister Hotel is a great choice for those looking for a hotel with a lively atmosphere and plenty of nearby nightlife options.
