Nestled in a lovely part of the English countryside, Whatley Manor is a charming hotel that boasts a beautiful exterior surrounded by picturesque grounds. Guests raved about the hotel's idyllic setting with many noting the stunning English garden and the tranquil stream that flows nearby. The location of the hotel was described as great, perfect for those seeking a peaceful getaway. Overall, Whatley Manor's location was deemed simply lovely by many of its happy guests.

Breakfast

Whatley Manor's breakfast receives generally positive feedback from guests. Reviewers appreciate the varied menu options and generous portion sizes. The attentive and cheerful service adds to the overall enjoyable experience. One reviewer particularly enjoyed the free wine included in the breakfast buffet. Service in the restaurant was generally good, although some guests experienced a wait time for drinks and an upsell for a bottle of champagne. Overall, Whatley Manor is a great choice for those seeking a high-quality dining experience.

Whatley Manor boasts a range of spacious and beautifully presented rooms, from lovely options with stunning views to absolutely huge suites that felt like mini flats. Guests raved about the comfort of the beds, which were sublimely comfortable with luxurious bedlinen. Despite some rooms being in need of refurbishment, guests described them as very clean and tastefully decorated. Drawer space was ample and room service was available for those wanting to dine in the comfort of their own room. Due to Covid restrictions, some suites were not made up daily, but guests found having a wonderful bed made was part of the treat. Overall, guests enjoyed their stays in these very comfortable and clean rooms.

Staff members are polite, helpful, attentive and friendly, making sure that nothing is too much trouble to ensure a memorable stay for guests. They are incredibly dog-friendly and always make sure guests are comfortable, even parking and charging their electric cars. The staff are still wearing face coverings due to high COVID infection rates, which guests appreciate. Guests commend the spa lady for being super helpful and friendly, pushing the overall experience even further. The restaurant staff is exceptional too, making for a wonderful dining experience. From arrival to departure, the smiling and attentive staff at Whatley Manor glides and flows to ensure guests have a fantastic stay.

The addition of an infrared sauna has only enhanced the spa's already impressive facilities, which are wonderfully relaxing.
