Rockvale House boasts a fantastic location, situated at the top of a steep hill, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Guests rave about how convenient the hotel's placement is with a central location that allows easy access to everything Lynton has to offer. The Valley of Rocks is a must-visit and luckily, the hotel provides the perfect location to do just that. Restaurants, takeaways, pubs and a vintage cinema are all within a short walking distance. The hotel also offers plenty of parking, which is always a plus. Guests describe Rockvale House as an exceptional B&B with outstanding views overlooking both the sea and rolling hills. The property itself is beautiful and full of character but has been updated to offer modern amenities. The hosts are extremely welcoming and the food is exceptional. The only downside mentioned by guests is the steep hill leading up to the hotel, which can be challenging for some. Overall, Rockvale House is the ideal base for exploring the outstandingly beautiful natural surroundings of Lynton and Lynmouth.

In short, the breakfast is first-class, cooked to perfection and offers an extensive choice of dishes to satisfy even the most discerning taste buds. There are plenty of cooked breakfast options, a good choice of cereals, juices and fresh berries and even porridge. Guests have reported that the hospitality and friendliness of the breakfast chef, Ness, far exceed expectations. Ness is a great chef who is willing to cater to guests' culinary wishes at breakfast, ensuring that it is a highlight of their stay. COVID security is also excellent, ensuring that guests have peace of mind while enjoying their breakfast. All in all, Rockvale House is the perfect place to stay if you want to start the day with an excellent breakfast!

Rockvale House boasts beautifully clean and comfortable rooms with many providing lovely views over the town and sea. Guests found the rooms to be spacious, light and airy with modern decor and all necessary amenities. Despite some rooms being a little dated, they were immaculately clean and cosy. The beds were large and comfy with lovely bedding, ensuring a great night's sleep. Some rooms even had their own en-suite facilities or an extra bathroom to themselves. The house itself was warm and inviting with lots of lovely original features. The only downsides were the occasional small shower and small TV. However, overall, guests loved the comfortable and clean accommodation with excellent facilities, making their stay in Lynton a fantastic experience.
