Away from the hustle and bustle of Livadia, this small guest house boasts its own private pebble beach, making it a true hidden gem. The hotel is also family-driven, providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Guests can take advantage of hiking tracks and a beach just steps away from the rooms, while still being only a pleasant 25-minute walk from the center of town. Visitors can easily explore the area by foot, taking in the stunning scenery along the way. Overall, Faros Rooms is a fantastic pick for those seeking a beautiful location and easy access to the best the island has to offer.

Faros Rooms boasts their own tavern with a lovely shady terrace where guests can enjoy delicious traditional Greek cuisine. The food served is really great and guests have the option to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner on the very well taken care of terrace. Even though there are better restaurants close to the port, guests highly recommend dining at the restaurant located right beneath the rooms. The food served is très bon and très savoureuse, offering a superbe vue sur la baie. Overall, guests agree that they also eat molto bene at Faros Rooms' tavern.

Although the rooms are basic, they are well thought out and decorated nicely. The hotel staff discreetly cleans the rooms on a daily basis. However, some guests felt that the bathrooms could use an update and the double bed was a bit small. Nonetheless, guests were generally pleased with the spaciousness of the rooms and the amazing view from the balcony. Even though some felt the bathrooms were small, this seems to be typical in the Dodecanese. The hotel's guests have left positive feedback on the hotel's cleanliness with phrases such as “pulitissima”, “Très appréciable.”, “Molto pulito.” and “sehr sauber und gepflegt”. Faros Rooms is a family-run hotel with a fantastic bunch of devoted and passionate staff. The most caring and helpful service is provided by the warm and welcoming owners, who make their guests feel like family. The manager, Mr. D. Koukakis, is exceptionally efficient, caring and welcoming, as are his parents. Guests are picked up from the port and looked after very well throughout their stay. Dimos, the owner, is a great conversationalist and takes the time to explain the different meals on the menu. The staff are super welcoming, helpful, interested and attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel's restaurant offers excellent food and guests are welcomed with warmth, professionalism and kindness.

Faros Rooms offers a beautiful and family-driven beach experience just steps away from the guest rooms. The private pebble beach is in a wild and stunning setting, perfect for hiking and relaxation. Guests can enjoy the beach's western views and sunshine until early evening. Private chairs and sun umbrellas are available for use, although swim shoes are recommended. Overall, the small and crystal clear pebble beach is very nice and invites guests to have a relaxing and peaceful stay listening to the soothing sound of the waves.
