Rockhill House is a stunning hotel set in a beautiful location surrounded by greenery and breathtaking views. Despite being located a bit far from Letterkenny, the hotel offers a peaceful and tranquil setting just a 5-10 minute car journey away from the lively town. Guests who have visited commend the picturesque and remote location that offers a relaxing and comfortable stay. The hotel's main building is beautiful and the grounds could use some work, but overall, the location is breathtakingly beautiful and highly recommended.

Breakfast

Rockhill House offers a delectable breakfast with a wide selection to choose from, all of which are outstanding and fantastic according to previous guests. The made-to-order mains, breads, cheeses and fruit available for breakfast are exceptional and to die for. However, a few guests have expressed disappointment with slow service or being charged extra without prior knowledge. Despite these minor concerns, the general consensus is that breakfast at Rockhill House is superb, wonderful, beautiful and even gastronomic. Overall, it is a perfect start to a day of exploring nearby attractions.

However, some guests may experience issues such as an unbelievably small sink in certain bathrooms or thick and heavy duvets which can make sleeping uncomfortable. Furthermore, some rooms might be separated from the main building and miss out on the charming old house experience. Despite these minor defects, the majority of guests seem to have enjoyed their stay, experiencing beautiful and opulent rooms, comfortable beds and cosy sitting areas. Finally, some guests may find that staff control the heating and disabled guests might encounter poor bathroom designs, but overall the rooms are first-class and sure to leave lasting impressions.

Although the spa area is not included in the accommodation, it comes highly recommended by previous guests who rated it 10/10 and described it as relaxation heaven. The staff went above and beyond to make their spa experience fantastic. Although more accommodation and a spa are set to open shortly, the new spa looks great and will be the icing on the cake for future guests.
