Despite being on a busy road, guests can still enjoy the lovely surroundings and a quiet atmosphere. The hotel is located just outside the city, hence conveniently away from the hustle and bustle. Guests can go for a lovely walk in nature and be in a rural setting, yet close to amenities. It is an excellent location for those visiting Leeds and the surrounding countryside, especially those who prefer to avoid the city centre. Additionally, the hotel is in an ideal position, just a few miles out from Temple Newsom house and park and within 15 minutes of Leeds city centre. With high standards of cleanliness and excellent facilities, it's perfect for guests who prioritize comfort and convenience.

The rooms are well-stocked with towels, toiletries, etc. and some have en-suites with plenty of hot water and good quality large towels. Guests have felt at home in the lovely, cosy and comfortable rooms with everything they need - including plenty of space. The hotel is efficiently run with tastefully decorated rooms that are very comfortable. The old worldy building on the outside is modern inside with very comfy beds. The staff are friendly and the breakfasts are good. However, a few guests did mention that their rooms were small and cramped, noisy due to the proximity to a main road or had a strange smell on entry.
