The Santa Maria Suites Resort is a traveler's paradise due to its excellent location. It is walking distance from most of the fun places, including Duval Street, the Southernmost point marker and the Fort Zachary park. The location is perfect for families as it is in a quiet area away from the noise of Duval Street. The resort is on the beach side of the island and has special access to South Beach, which is only a 5-minute walk away. Guests loved the location and some have already recommended it to others. The hotel is close to everything but still quiet and intimate, making it ideal for relaxation. The rooms are spacious and the hotel staff is friendly. The pool area is nice but small. The property is hidden in a tropical oasis perfect for a peaceful vacation. The resort is well-located and close to the Main Street with all the bars, shops and other attractions. Overall, it's a perfect location for those who want peace and proximity to crazy.

Throughout our stay, we were blown away by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Matilda, the front desk manager, was particularly outstanding and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The Reception staff was also accommodating to all our needs and made us feel truly at home. Even the pool bar attendant was attentive and ensured that everyone at the pool was taken care of.

The staff truly made our vacation a phenomenal experience. Not only were they incredibly professional, they were also polite, happy and service-oriented. From check-in to check-out, we were treated with such respect and greeted as if we were long lost friends. We were surprised with champagne and a special note in the room – a gesture that made us feel valued and appreciated.

One standout quality of the staff was their willingness to help. They were always available to answer our questions and provide recommendations. The concierge team was particularly outstanding and always made themselves available for any requests we had. We also loved the warm welcome at reception with a Polish accent and the Polish accents in the adjacent restaurant Milagro, whose owner is a compatriot and several staff members are Poles.

Overall, every staff member was very friendly and helpful, making us feel incredibly comfortable and at ease. From the maids to the front desk to the pool bartender, the staff were all amazing and very accommodating. We will definitely be recommending this resort to friends and family and would love to return in the future.

Pool

The beach area in front of the hotel is not recommended due to a large, dirty-looking retaining wall and brown, smelly seaweed water. However, the hotel provides complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas for guests. Unfortunately, the water is currently not swim-able. For those who prefer the pool, it's beautiful and inviting. Guests who do want some beach action can access South Beach, a five-minute walk away. Overall, while the hotel may not have direct beach access, it's a great option for those who want to explore the nearby beautiful beaches while enjoying the amenities of a luxurious resort.

Parking
