The breakfast options at Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa offer guests an excellent choice with a good selection of fresh and yummy options. Many guests noted that service was excellent with fast and helpful staff. However, there were some mixed reviews about the quality of the breakfast with some guests disappointed by the food and mistakes with orders. Despite this, many guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast, especially at the Mizu restaurant, which offers both Asian theme and traditional options. Vegetarian and vegan options were limited, but meat-eaters could indulge in a tasty Cumbrian breakfast or sausage with good quality and plentiful choices. Overall, the breakfast service was good, although a few guests noted a disjointed service or underwhelming food in comparison to the hotel's reputation. Despite some negative reviews, the majority of guests seemed to enjoy their breakfast experience with numerous menu choices on offer and beautiful presentation.

Dinner
The dinner options during a stay at Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa are a mixed bag according to guest reviews. While some guests rave about the amazing restaurants serving great food with excellent service at reasonable prices, others complain of small portions for the high prices, overcooked or cold food and poor menu choices. The Asian restaurant Mizu is a standout with multiple guests mentioning their outstanding dinner experience there. However, some guests were disappointed with the food on their second night and others mention having issues with orders being incorrect or tables not being cleared promptly. All in all, the quality and availability of food during a stay at Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa seems to vary, but there are some real gems to be found amongst the dining options.

However, not all guests were completely satisfied with their room with some finding them small and stuffy. Additionally, a few guests had issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom. But, for the majority of guests, the comfortable beds and pillows were a standout feature of the hotel. Although, there were a couple of reviewers who thought the bed didn't live up to its appearance, but most agreed that it was "very comfortable" and "unbelievably comfortable".

Cleanliness
The cleanliness of Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa is a standout feature with guests consistently praising the exceptionally clean and immaculate rooms and public areas. While some renovation work was ongoing and caused some dusty areas, overall the hotel and spa were beautiful and clean. Guests appreciate the warm welcome upon arrival and helpfulness of the staff throughout their stay. Despite some negative reviews about lack of communication on check-in and less attentive service in some areas, most guests credit the staff as a highlight of their experience. Some staff are even singled out for praise, such as Barman Sam and Carly. Unfortunately, there are also reports of rude or unenthusiastic staff, but these seem to be the exception rather than the norm. Overall, guests feel that the level of service provided by the staff ranges from nice to fantastic and many credit the staff with making their stay special.

Spa
If you're looking for a hotel with an impressive spa, Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa should definitely be on your list. Guest after guest raved about the amazing spa with many noting how exceptional the staff is. From beauty therapist Naomi's incredible massages to Mei zu's wonderful treatments, the spa experience was unreal. The facilities themselves are also top-notch with some guests saying it's the nicest spa they've ever used. You can take advantage of the spa at a discounted price and with plenty of character, it's well worth a visit. There's even an outdoor spa with a beautiful view. While the spa booking process could improve and some guests encountered rude staff members, overall the spa and treatments were outstanding. Just be aware that availability may be limited and some guests felt rushed during the Rasul Ritual Spa Day. Additionally, while the spa changing rooms were generally very clean, some guests commented on the low standard of products. But with such a fabulous spa in a peaceful and relaxing location, we're sure you'll love staying at Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa.

The hotel exudes beauty and provides a touch of luxury with its fab decor in the main building. Guests can indulge in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying exceptional service. Some reviewers felt that the hotel was trying too hard to be a high-end luxury establishment with cheap tactics that did not reflect the price you pay for a spa setting. Nevertheless, guests raved about everything and described it as a lovely and beautiful experience. While some guests felt that the service could improve, they still regarded the hotel as a luxury establishment worth a visit. Overall, if you are looking for a relaxed indulgent break in a luxurious setting, the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa is a great choice.

Dog Friendly

Guests are able to bring their beloved dogs and are even provided with a dog bed and feeding bowls in their room. However, there have been reports of noise from other dogs in the hotel and some guests have had to leave their dogs in the room. Breakfast, fortunately, is available for guests with their dogs, although there are no designated dining tables indoors for pets. There is a side lounge area for eating, but it has low tables that may not be suitable for some guests. Nonetheless, there is an outstanding lounge area for guests and their pets to sit and relax. Many guests have found the hotel very accommodating for dogs, but others felt it could be more pet-friendly for the price. Rooms may also be too small and stuffy for larger groups with dogs, so it's best to choose a larger room if travelling with furry friends.
