Very Good
Location
The Chesford Grange Hotel boasts a lovely location that's perfect for a peaceful getaway or a trip to explore the nearby attractions. The hotel is conveniently placed near restaurants, bezienswaardigheden and Warwick Castle, making it an ideal location for those wanting to explore areas they haven't visited before. Visitors can take advantage of the numerous walks in the area and those attending events at the Stonleigh Showground or manning stands at Stoneleigh Park will find the hotel's location to be great. Plus, the Chesford Grange Hotel offers value for money and is a good choice for those searching for a quiet, well-located hotel.

Breakfast
Guests at Chesford Grange Hotel were generally impressed with the quality and variety of breakfast offerings. Many guests described the breakfast as "excellent" and "superb," with plenty of choice including fresh fruit, cereal, cooked breakfast, pastries and muffins. Guests appreciated the self-service aspect of the breakfast, allowing them to have as little or as much as they wanted. However, some guests noted a lack of vegetarian and vegan options and would have liked more variety. Some also mentioned that the cooked breakfast could have been warmer. Despite these minor criticisms, overall, the breakfast was considered "great" and "phenomenal" by many guests.

Dinner
The dining experience at Chesford Grange Hotel received mixed reviews from guests. Some praised the restaurant's delicious food, especially the wonderful 'Tomahawk' steak, which was cooked to perfection. However, others found the menu limited, overpriced and not very inspiring with some dishes being too expensive for the small portions served. Vegetarian options were also limited. The dining area was big and food was spread out on different areas, making it difficult for guests to find what they wanted.

Guests also had mixed opinions about the hotel bar as some found it too noisy and not suitable for eating, especially with group meetings going on at the same time. Others complained about slow and inaccurate service in both the bar and restaurant with staff shortages causing delays and many orders being incorrect. Some guests had to wait a long time for their meal and half of the food never arrived for some diners. Consequently, many guests were disappointed with the dinner service and a few described the dinner in the bar as poor.

Despite the mixed reviews, some guests praised the dining room and bar staff for being amazing, especially with their allergy needs at dinner. Moreover, some guests found the varying options of food adequate and children's buffet needed more healthy options. However, one guest was disappointed with the receptionist for not explaining that the restaurant stopped serving at 7pm unless pre-booked, noting that their order wasn't taken until 7.10pm. Overall, it seems the dinner experience at Chesford Grange Hotel needs improvement for guests to fully enjoy their stay.

Rooms
The Chesford Grange Hotel offers a variety of rooms, some that are newly refurbished with modern finishes and luxurious bathrooms. The hotel is child-friendly and caters to families with spacious family rooms available. Many guests rave about the comfort of the beds and the spaciousness of the rooms. Additionally, the location and decor of the hotel are highly rated. However, some guests mention issues with cleanliness, such as dirty beds, towels and makeup marks on mirrors, while others suggest that some rooms were rundown or had a slight odor. Some amenities, like plugs near the bed or functioning bathroom fans, were lacking in some rooms, leaving guests dissatisfied. Despite this, many reviewers were impressed with the hotel and its rooms and would recommend it to others.

Beds
If you're looking for a comfortable night's sleep, Chesford Grange Hotel is a great choice. While some guests did mention dirty beds or uncomfortable ones, the majority were raving about the super comfortable beds that allowed them to sleep well. Some even described the beds as "fantastic" or "super comfy". Guests loved the size of the beds with some saying they were huge and others praising the pillows. However, there were a few comments about the beds being a bit hard or small for a double. Overall, the rooms were comfortable and the decor was amazing throughout with a beautiful location to boot.

Cleanliness
If you prioritize cleanliness during your stay at a hotel, Chesford Grange Hotel might be up your alley. Many guests commented that the rooms were spotless and the beds were comfortable. There were also positive remarks on the clean gym and clean public areas. However, some guests did note that there were areas of the hotel that needed more attention when it came to cleanliness. For example, the changing rooms by the pool were described as filthy and there were mentions of dirty steam and old food and drink left in the games room. Despite these outliers, the majority of guests agreed that Chesford Grange Hotel was exceptionally clean with well-kept rooms and facilities.

Staff
Guests of Chesford Grange Hotel consistently praise the hotel's staff for being friendly, helpful and accommodating. Many guests mention specific staff members by name, such as Elliot, Amanda and the night shift restaurant supervisor, for providing exceptional service. The bar and restaurant staff seem to be particularly adept at catering to guests' needs, including allergy requirements. Despite some negative experiences with slow service and unhelpful management, overall, the staff at Chesford Grange Hotel make a positive impact on guests' stays. Their kindness, professionalism and attentiveness are frequently noted and appreciated.

Spa
The spa facilities at Chesford Grange Hotel seem to be hit or miss. Some guests have reported poor facilities and limited seating around the pool. However, others loved the leisure facilities and found the warm swimming pool to be a highlight. The standout feature of the spa appeared to be Jaz, a therapist who was exceptional. On the downside, some guests experienced confusion and frustration when the spa was closed during their stay or when they were unable to get information about it being closed in advance. Additionally, there were some complaints about the high prices of drinks, bar food and spa treatments. Overall, while the hotel itself had really good facilities, the quality of the spa may be something to consider before booking.

Pool
The Chesford Grange Hotel offers a lovely swimming pool with a great temperature for a relaxing dip during your stay. Families especially loved it with children enjoying the pool and provided toys like noodles and floats. However, some reviews noted that there were not enough seats by the pool and that it could become crowded with unruly children running around. Although some found the pool small or tiny, others thought it was a nice size. Cleanliness varied with some mentioning that the water was dirty or the floor was disgusting. Additionally, some guests were disappointed to find out that the pool had been closed, while others were frustrated by restricted access times. Nonetheless, the pool was generally seen as a nice extra for the hotel's location and some appreciated having dogs allowed in the outdoor space around the pool.

Parking
Travellers looking for a parking-friendly hotel should consider Chesford Grange Hotel. Guest reviews reveal a mix of positive and negative comments about parking with some describing it as perfect and ample, while others found it to be stressful and limited. The Grange's large car park is generally seen as a plus, but it can become very busy, leaving some guests with no spaces to park. However, reception staff seem quick to offer alternative parking solutions, such as events car parks nearby. Despite some mixed feelings about parking, most guests note the polite staff and often easy parking at Chesford Grange Hotel.

Family
Chesford Grange Hotel is a perfect family-friendly location that also welcomes dogs for free! The hotel has a great pool for kids and adults alike, making it a great place for families to stay. Some guests even had the opportunity to swim with their kids. The family rooms were spacious and comfortable, making them perfect for an overnight stay with little ones. Even the four-legged members of the family were catered for with a large garden for dogs to play in and dog signage to identify dog-friendly rooms. The hotel is a great location for meeting up with family, but beware of unruly children running around corridors and making noise late into the night. Despite this, guests appreciated the hotel's child-friendly atmosphere and some even attended a dog show during their stay. Overall, Chesford Grange Hotel provides a fun and relaxing retreat for both kids and dogs alike.

Dog Friendly
If you're looking for a dog-friendly escape in Warwickshire, look no further than Chesford Grange Hotel. The hotel is wonderfully welcoming to our four-legged friends and even better, dogs are allowed to stay for free! Upon arrival, we loved the dog signage on the door and the accessibility for our furry companions. The hotel even has dog-only rooms to ensure a comfortable stay for all. While some reviews note that there were too many dogs in public spaces, we found that our dog had plenty of space to stretch his legs outside and inside the hotel too. It was fabulous to be able to bring our dog with us and know he was well taken care of. The facilities were excellent, especially for our two dogs, who loved the experience. The only downside was that the hotel smells of dogs and there may be dog hair in some areas, but that is to be expected at a dog-friendly hotel. Overall, we highly recommend Chesford Grange Hotel for a dog-friendly retreat in Warwickshire!
