The jacuzzi and hot tub amenities at Club Wyndham Patong Hill Phuket, Trademark Collection by Wyndham have elicited a variety of reactions from guests. There are mentions of rooms featuring great jacuzzis with amenities like a balcony or garden hot tub, adding a touch of luxury and privacy to their stay. A private villa with a swimming pool or a large jacuzzi in the lounge also adds to the appeal. Some guests appreciated the concept, noting ideas like a jacuzzi on the balcony as a great addition and complementing the nice hot tub setups.
However, a recurring issue highlighted by multiple guests is the cleanliness and functionality of these amenities. Reports of dirty jacuzzis, clogged and defective units were common with specific mentions of cold water making it unenjoyable and instances where the water was described as dirty or green. Issues like low water pressure, manual addition of chlorine and unpleasant items such as dead bugs, leaves and even sewerage water have been reported.
While the idea of having a jacuzzi or hot tub in the room is appealing, it seems there is significant room for improvement in maintenance and functionality to meet guests' expectations fully.
