Location

Wildercombe House is a beautiful place located in a fabulous area. From the hotel, you can enjoy stunning views of the sea and the town. The location is excellent as it is centrally situated and you can easily explore Ilfracombe and North Devon. The hotel is in a prime location for visiting the town, harbour, local beaches and eateries. There is plenty of parking available, making it an ideal location for those with a car. Buses stop just yards from the hotel, making it easy to get into town and exploring other places.

While the hotel is a bit further out of town than some guests would have liked, it still remains an excellent location for touring the area. The location is perfect in situation to the town and it's just a 20-30 minute walk to Illfrecombe Town. There is also a lovely woodland behind the hotel if you like walks. However, the hill up to the hotel can be quite steep, so it is not ideal for those with mobility issues.

Guests have also noted that the hotel's position allows them to get out for dinner easily as there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel's location is also good for Woolacombe and it's an ideal location with lots of parking. Additionally, the hotel is clean and near to the beachfront, not far away. However, being right on the A361 does mean there is noise from traffic.

Overall, Wildercombe House is a great base for exploring Ilfracombe and the surrounding area. The location was spot on for many guests and they highly recommend it if you want to visit Ilfracombe and North Devon.
