Location
The Hana Aparthotel is situated in a rural and quiet neighborhood, which offers a peaceful atmosphere away from the bustling city center. Its proximity to the Hamburg A1 highway makes it easily accessible and convenient for travelers heading to Denmark or other destinations. Though the hotel is located in Barsbüttel, not Hamburg itself, it is close enough to major roads, facilitating travel.
The location's tranquil setting ensures a good night's sleep, supported by comfortable beds. However, guests should be aware that the area lacks shopping facilities and dining options, making it less ideal for those wanting to be in the middle of city activities. The village's quiet charm is appreciated, though some may find the rural smell from a nearby farm off-putting. Public transportation is satisfactorily reachable, easing the visit despite the distance from Hamburg's center.
Rooms
Hana Aparthotel offers a variety of room options that cater to different needs. Many guests appreciated the well-equipped rooms, noting the presence of kitchenettes and spacious showers. The cleanliness received mixed feedback; some found the rooms sparkling clean, tidy and fresh, while others thought they could be cleaner. The beds were commonly praised for their comfort and coziness.
The rooms, though compact or rectangular in shape, provided necessary amenities, including power outlets conveniently located on both sides of the bed. Some rooms were described as aged, but they were still considered nice with good furniture. The hotel also features large rooms suitable for families, accommodating up to two adults and three children, providing a suitable option for larger parties.
Communication with the hotel staff via WhatsApp was noted as efficient and the peaceful ambiance in some rooms was particularly appreciated. However, a few rooms had less desirable views facing big garbage bins. Overall, the accommodations at Hana Aparthotel are functional and comfy, making it a decent choice for travelers looking for practical amenities and a comfortable stay.
Beds
When considering a stay at Hana Aparthotel, the beds elicit mixed reactions among guests. A significant number of visitors praised the comfort of the beds, frequently using terms like very comfortable, super comfortable and cozy to describe their sleeping experience. Even the sleeper sofa received favorable comments for its comfort.
However, some guests found the beds to be less than ideal in terms of size and condition. Several reviews mentioned the beds being small or narrow, which might be less suitable for taller individuals or those desiring more space. There were also recurring remarks about the mattresses being worn out, affecting the overall comfort for some sleeping over prolonged stays. It's worthwhile to note that the pillows received mixed feedback as well with some describing them as too soft and flat.
In conclusion, while many have enjoyed restful nights on the beds at Hana Aparthotel, there are concerns about the size and condition of some mattresses and pillows that potential guests may want to consider.
