This spa hotel is a haven in the bustling city, located in the heart of Glasgow and accessible to shops, restaurants, train station and all the art venues that interested us. Guests have loved the hotel's great central location close to shops and restaurants and its lovely garden with a nice view overlooking the Square. The property itself is exceptional with facilities that guests have been happy with. However, some guests did mention that parking was an issue and a few would've liked more windows. Overall, Kimpton - Blythswood Square Hotel, an IHG Hotel's location and facilities make it a good choice for a stay in Glasgow.

From Evon and Chuck going above and beyond to the personal attention of Irvine, the staff are all fantastic with David and Roberto being mentioned specifically. Guests loved the garden, the breakfast room and the social hour with complimentary wine, all of which were made all the more enjoyable by the wonderful staff. However, some guests noted that the staff could be forgetful at times. Overall, the entire team that runs the hotel is top-notch with every staff member making a great impression on guests.

Overall, the spa facilities were loved by guests who were able to access them with some mentioning the excellent thermal experience and outstanding hydra pool. However, some guests did express disappointment that they weren't informed of the spa closure beforehand, while others raised concerns over maintenance issues and hygiene. Nonetheless, the spa staff were said to be brilliant and even booked guests for spa treatments. However, the hotel loses points for not being a true 5-star experience according to some guests, especially when it comes to closing the bar at 10:45 pm each night and the breakfast not being as good as one would expect. Yet, many still believe that the Kimpton - Blythswood Square Hotel, an IHG Hotel certainly lives up to its 5-star rating and is up there with the best hotels. Also, the beautiful food, great spa and friendly staff make the experience truly exceptional.
