Very Good
Location
If you're looking for a hotel that's conveniently located to all the hotspots in Dublin, then The Dean is a great choice. Guests rave about its central location with many saying it's within easy walking distance to all the popular sights and even the shopping district. Plus, public transportation is nearby with the Luas stop just a two-minute walk away. But the best part about the location is the nightlife scene with many nightclubs in close proximity. And with views from Sophie's rooftop restaurant, you'll get to experience the vibe of the city while enjoying a great meal. However, if you're a light sleeper, it might not be the best choice for you, as it's located on one of the busiest nightclub streets in Dublin. Overall, The Dean is a trendy hotel with a great location, making it the perfect base for a night out on the town.

Breakfast
Guests of The Dean Dublin rave about the hotel's breakfast offerings. Many describe it as excellent, fantastic and incredible. The food is said to be amazing and delicious with guests praising specific dishes such as the French toast. Guests also appreciate the warmth and friendliness of the staff, specifically noting the lovely teams both in the restaurant and at Sophie's. However, some guests were disappointed to find that breakfast was not included in their stay and others felt it wasn't worth the extra cost. Overall, guests highly recommend indulging in the superb breakfast options at The Dean Dublin's restaurant and Sophie's.

Rooms
The Dean Dublin offers a range of rooms with varying sizes and layouts, from spacious and well-designed rooms to cramped and poorly laid out ones. The facilities, such as massive comfy beds and modern bathrooms, are generally excellent with some guests noting that the room design is quirky and stylish, featuring record players and mini bars. However, some guests do complain about poorly designed rooms with barely enough space to walk around the bed, little storage and poorly thought-out bathrooms that are cramped or have showers that run everywhere. Some guests also note issues with cleanliness or maintenance, such as wet rugs or loose toilet seats. Overall, The Dean Dublin offers a range of modern and clean rooms, but guests should be aware that some rooms may be smaller than advertised and lack certain amenities.

Beds
The Dean Dublin has a range of beds on offer, from massive comfy ones to unfortunately small doubles with varying levels of comfort reported by guests. Some found the beds extremely comfortable with one person even stating it was the most comfortable bed ever. However, others felt that the pillows were terrible and one guest even described the bed as a joke. Despite this, many people reported that the beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of mentions of comfy, giant beds. The only downside reported by some guests was that in the standard double room, the double bed was against a wall, making it difficult for one person to get out and with limited space for two people. Overall, the beds at The Dean Dublin seemed to be a highlight for many guests with a large number describing them as super comfy or v comfortable.

Cleanliness
The Dean Dublin has received mixed reviews regarding cleanliness from its guests. While some guests praised the hotel for being immaculately clean and modern, others reported dirty bathrooms, stained sheets and grubby carpets. Some guests mentioned unpleasant smells in the hallway and rooms, which gave them the impression of poor hygiene. Some rooms were smaller than expected for the price. However, a few visitors appreciated the unique decor and ambiance of the hotel. The housekeeping staff was reported to have missed cleaning the toilet, grout and tiles in some rooms. Some guests also noticed dust and mould in different areas of the room. Overall, the Dean Dublin needs improvement in maintaining cleanliness standards in some rooms.

Staff
'The Dean Dublin' has exceptional staff who are extremely helpful and accommodating, making guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Many guests have praised the very friendly and helpful staff with some referring to them as amazing and wonderful. The reception staff are especially excellent, as many reviews mention. However, a few guests have also criticized some staff members for being rude or unresponsive to their requests. Overall, guests appreciate the gracious and accommodating attitude of most staff members and love the style and location of 'The Dean Dublin.'

Gym
The Dean Dublin offers a great fitness experience for those who want to stay in shape while on vacation. The gym is equipped with top-of-the-line exercise equipment that has received compliments from previous guests. One guest even went on to describe the gym as amazing and another referred to it as excellent. If you're looking for a way to relax while getting fit, there's also a health suite and bar area too. The only downside is that the pool and gym were closed during one guest's stay due to an issue, but otherwise, it's a perfect gym. Many guests have wished that the gym was open 24 hours and although one guest didn't use the gym, they noted that it looked very well equipped. French-speaking guests were also keen to highlight the super salle de sport, which is great news for all fitness enthusiasts who speak French! Overall, the gym and fitness area at The Dean Dublin are top-notch and perfect for travelers who need to stay active while on vacation.

Pool
The Dean Dublin boasts a wonderful pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. It's an ideal spot to unwind thanks to its great facilities and amazing staff. The pool comes in both indoor and outdoor varieties with the outdoor pool being heated, perfect for a dip or just lounging around in hot water. While it may be small for some, it's a great spa pool and the ability to book it in advance ensures that it's never too crowded. Unfortunately, during one guest's stay, the pool was out of order and during another guest's stay, both the pool and gym were closed. Overall, the pool and sauna are highly recommended for those seeking relaxation during their stay at The Dean Dublin.

Nightlife
If you're looking for a hotel that's in the heart of Dublin nightlife, look no further than The Dean Dublin. Located in a bustling area filled with nightclubs and pubs, the hotel is perfect for those who want to experience the city's lively scene. However, it's important to note that the area can be loud at night with full blast club music coming from neighboring bars until the wee hours. While some guests found the noise level extreme, others were prepared with earplugs provided by the hotel. Lower floor rooms can be particularly noisy, so it's good to keep that in mind when booking. Despite the potential for noise, The Dean Dublin is a great location for those who want to be in the midst of the action. The rooftop bar is a particular highlight, offering one of Dublin's finest and hottest cocktail venues. If you're ready for a night out, The Dean Dublin is the perfect home base.

Luxury
If you're looking for a luxurious city break, The Dean Dublin is the perfect choice. This charming 4-star hotel will exceed your expectations with its bespoke design and slick contemporary style. The Dylan suite is a particular highlight with great decor and modern furnishings. The hotel is super clean and well-maintained and the staff are amazing - they even upgraded one happy couple to a suite for their wedding anniversary! Overall, The Dean Dublin is an amazing hotel that provides a truly luxurious stay.
