Family Friendly HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Family' categoryThe Whitewater Hotel & Spa is a great family-friendly option with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, perfect for families with young children or teenagers. However, dining options can be challenging for families as the mealtimes are a bit late for small children and the restaurant is expensive with no children's menu. Breakfast has plenty of options for families, but there is a lack of selection for children. Additionally, there is no bar food, aside from sandwiches and soup, so families may need to travel a bit to find more affordable meal options. Despite the dining challenges, the hotel does provide a welcoming family room and plenty of outdoor activities to keep everyone entertained and enjoying the fresh air. Show more
Family Friendly HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Family' categoryThe Damson Dene Hotel is a great location for a family getaway or day trips out. One guest felt it was the perfect place to escape the city with their family and dogs for some time off work. The hotel is welcoming of dogs, offering plenty of space for them, which was appreciated by a guest who stayed with their furry friend. Families with children will appreciate the family rooms, which have lots of space for everyone. One child had a lot of fun during their stay. However, a lack of soundproofing in the family rooms resulted in some noise from other guests, including children screaming. Despite this, the hotel was still overall very good for a family stay. Breakfast was a highlight for many guests with a range of cooked food and freshly made croissants available, although some children did not enjoy the runny eggs. Families who stayed found their experience to be a nice one. Show more

Family Friendly HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Family' categoryThe Swan Hotel and Spa offers some child-friendly amenities with the added bonus of being dog-friendly too. Families can enjoy a range of activities to keep occupied in bad weather, although some guests expressed concern over poorly supervised children running amok in the swimming pool and lobby areas. Visitors with furry friends, on the other hand, were more than happy with the hotel's welcoming attitude towards dogs, providing towels and even a bowl for their four-legged companions. However, some guests also reported that there were too many hordes of kids causing a racket at night, making it hard for those seeking a romantic dinner or peaceful rest. Despite some staffing issues, the luxury accommodations nevertheless managed to feel relaxed and family-friendly at the same time, giving families a perfect setting to celebrate special occasions such as a New Year birthday break with happy humans and a delighted dog. But for those wanting more variety beyond the hotel premises, there seems to be nothing else within walking distance worth exploring. Show more

Family Friendly HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Family' categoryThe North Lakes Hotel and Spa is an excellent choice for families looking for a fun and comfortable stay. The hotel provides fantastic facilities, including a swimming pool that the kids absolutely love. The bunk beds in the super family rooms were a huge hit with our reviewer's son, while the annual family trip was made perfect by the staff's excellent service. The hotel is very child-friendly, as made evident by the cinema room and special touches for the kids in the lovely family rooms, like a roped-off area for swimming lessons. However, a few guests found that the hotel charged an extra £30 per child per night on top of their payments for the family room. The hotel is conveniently located next to the motorway, making it easy to take a break during a long car journey. Some reviews mentioned that the lift was not working properly, which made it challenging for disabled individuals and elderly guests to climb several flights of stairs. Nevertheless, overall, the hotel is amazing for families and a great option for those looking for a perfect family stay. Show more
