The hotel is solely for adults, so a strong point of the establishment is the food. The service is impeccable and the amenities are available 24/7. The snacks are very good with a great variety. The great variety in food makes up for the few options available and the food that is offered is delicious. However, a few guests mentioned that there were limited options for food and entertainment, but this downside did not overshadow the overall experience. The additional cost of $20 per person per day seems worth it considering the wide range of food and drink options. If you're expecting a luxurious all-inclusive experience though, then this might not be for you, as the amenities of the premium package leaves something to be desired. Despite this, the food, beverage and snack options, along with the facilities of the hotel, make up for the minor inconveniences. Overall, Occidental Papagayo ALL INCLUSIVE offers a great adult-only all inclusive experience in Costa Rica.
