Location

Quinta Splendida Wellness & Botanical Garden is a beautiful hotel located in Caniço, a quiet village with shops, bakeries and restaurants nearby. It's a perfect location for families with children, as it's close to a playground and a supermarket. The hotel is set in a stunning botanical garden with multiple levels and panoramic views of the sea. The garden is well-maintained and boasts a variety of palm trees that are legendary. The gigantic pool is wonderful and well-maintained. The location is advantageous as it's a short drive from the airport and provides quick access to the most beautiful coastal hike on the island. The hotel is also located near bus stops that provide easy access to Funchal and other destinations. The restaurants and bars are well-run and expertly integrated into the complex. The musical entertainment is pleasant and not loud enough to disturb guests in their rooms. The only downside is that the spa area could use a facelift and the panoramic view sauna could be designed better. However, overall, the hotel is an intimate paradise in the middle of a botanical garden with incredible views and a peaceful atmosphere.
