Location

The All Saints Hotel is a beautiful hotel ideally located for those wanting to explore Bury St Edmunds without being right in the hustle and bustle of the town center. While it may be hard to access by walking, there is plenty of parking and it is well signposted from nearby roads. The hotel itself is set in stunning grounds overlooking a golf course, making for a lovely tranquil location. From here, it's a short drive into town or a pleasant river walk from the golf course. The location is also convenient for those attending weddings at nearby Hengrave Hall. Overall, this hotel is in a great location for exploring the area and has plenty of facilities to make for an enjoyable stay.

Breakfast

All Saints Hotel offers a good breakfast spread with different choices and a hot buffet that is of a very good standard. The breakfast was unhurried and of good quality and the service provided by the friendly staff was outstanding. Freshly cooked food was available with a very good range to choose from. However, some guests found that the breakfast was a bit disappointing with less variety than expected, while others experienced a disaster, tasteless or poor quality breakfast. Breakfast location was a bit hard to find and the breakfast bar was a walk from the table, needing to be closer. Some guests had to use the Golf Club cafe or book a slot for breakfast. The leisure complex includes all the facilities you need such as a pool, spa pools, sauna and gym. In fact, the gym was so impressive that one guest stated it was definitely way above what is normally found in a hotel gym. Without a doubt, the various facilities, especially the gym, make All Saints Hotel an excellent choice for fitness-oriented travelers.

The pool area could have benefitted from some lounge chairs, but guests still found it a nice place to go for a swim. The spa/gym facilities were lovely, although guests did have to walk through the car park in their robes and slippers to get there. The only criticism was that the pool was sometimes cool or even freezing cold. However, overall, guests enjoyed the pool and considered it a great bonus of the hotel's leisure complex that also included saunas and a gym. The setting was lovely with outdoor seating available and guests raved about the food quality - especially the incredible desserts like the BBQ pineapple and Yuzu.
