Multiple cafes, restaurants, shops and bars can be found in the vicinity, making it the perfect spot for exploring the surroundings. While some guests found the hotel a bit tricky to find on their first arrival, the generous onsite parking ensured easy access throughout their stay. The staff is lovely and the rooms are clean and comfortable, albeit a little smaller than some guests expected. Nonetheless, the location is perfect for those wanting to enjoy the best of what Bowness and the Lake District have to offer.

If you're looking for a stunning B&B in a lovely location, Latimer House is the perfect choice. Despite some reviews stating that it's certainly not four stars, we were impressed with the beautifully decorated, clean rooms and excellent facilities. The beds were comfy, the showers were great and the rooms were very spacious, some even had an outside space. The staff were very polite and provided prompt service with the host being incredibly friendly. We were even greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and an ice bucket, which was a lovely touch. Garage parking is available for your car and for a small fee, the hotel can even arrange for a bottle of Prosecco to be placed in your room for special occasions like anniversaries. Overall, we highly recommend Latimer House for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
