The Slieve Russell Hotel has been highly praised for its cleanliness by many guests, who found the bedrooms to be large, warm, plush and comfortable, as well as impeccably maintained with Ritual amenities. The hotel is kept to a high standard of cleanliness with everywhere being constantly maintained and absolutely spotless. The professionalism of the staff also adds to the overall cleanliness of the hotel. While some areas were noted to be a bit grubby and dated, the hotel overall was fantastic and very clean. The bar area, however, could have been cleaner with guests needing to ask every time for someone to wipe the table. Similarly, some rooms were noted to have been unclean with one guest noting a long window sill full of dead flies. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and well-maintained, though a few guests noted that certain rooms could have done with a more thorough hoover. Overall, however, the Slieve Russell Hotel is a very clean and friendly hotel with fantastic facilities and grounds cleanliness.
