Very Good

Location

Inglewood House and Spa is a hotel that boasts real old world charm and style. The impressive building is located in a lovely, verdant setting and surrounded by beautiful grounds, making it an ideal location for exploring the surrounding green areas. The location is great with guests lauding it as an excellent and convenient location. However, it can be quite hard to find at night and there are 10 steep steps up to reception, which makes it not suitable for anyone disabled. Some guests also mentioned that the view from the woodland lodge could have been better but it is close to Edinburgh Airport. Additionally, the surrounding woods are lovely and quiet and the large garden in front of the hotel is magnificent. It is a nice area for walking tours with great views and guests can enjoy the sensationelle Lage. Hidden behind all the trees, the location is ideally located for the occasion. Despite some steps up to reception, the location, facilities and room are still top-notch, earning an A+. Overall, Inglewood House and Spa is situated in a lovely and quiet location, perfect for those wanting to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Guests stayed in woodland pods, which were well-equipped and clean and some found the forest pods and cosy little lodges charming. However, a few guests complained of poorly serviced and cramped rooms with some signs of water damage in some cases and small, cramped bathroom facilities. Nevertheless, most guests enjoyed their stay with some describing their rooms as stunning, spotlessly clean and absolutely huge.

Speaking of which, the room was truly amazing and very spacious - in fact, the bedroom was also massive. The overall vibe of this place is one of luxury and elegance, supported by the beautiful furniture and first class amenities. Although some guests felt it wasn't quite as luxurious as advertised, the majority were blown away by the gorgeous old house and lovely country house hotel. Die "Billiard suite" was especially stunning with its old Scottish décor - but really, everything was top class. All in all, Inglewood House and Spa is a very luxurious and beautiful place to stay, making it the perfect spot for a fairytale getaway.
