Although it is just a mile from the Mykonos town, there is no footpath and the roads can be treacherous for pedestrians. Hence guests rely on expensive taxis and private transfers to get to town for dinner each evening. However, the resort offers complimentary driven to locations within their network and helps arrange transportation for anything. Furthermore, the resort has a very good location in relation to the center of the island with short distances to downtown Mykonos and other areas. One can easily reach the Mykonos old town by public bus around the corner. The beach access is wonderful and there are beautiful views of the ocean and cliffs, as well as amazing views of the Aegean sea and Mykonos town. The location is excellent and it is super quiet in this area. The resort is situated in a fab spot and the beachfront and pools are mesmerizing. The only downside is that guests may need a car or pay for transfers since transport costs across Mykonos are high. Nevertheless, Anax Resort and Spa is a perfect hotel found in a strategic location with a fantastic sunset view.
