Excellent

Location

Santa Maria Village Resort & Spa is a wonderful resort with a great refreshing pool and stunning views of the island. The location is excellent, central and quiet at the same time with easy walking distance to Adamantas and the town center. Although it's not close to a beach, being close to the town is a plus. The hotel is well-located just outside of the port within 5 minutes walking distance to all restaurants. There is a dedicated footpath that is well-lit the majority of the way, making it easy to walk into town, especially as the sun goes down. The location is fantastic and it sits on a hill just above town. It's only a 10-15 minute walk to the port and there is a short walk to town. Additionally, the hotel is situated strategically to go anywhere on the island easily. Although it's recommended to have a means of transportation, such as a car or scooter/quad, the walk to Adamas is definitely doable. However, the walk back is uphill, so it might be convenient to have transportation. Overall, the location and staff were amazing and guests enjoyed staying at this lovely resort within walking distance to the main town.

Breakfast
